Ex126BSS Range | 12,000 Volts | 400 Amp | Flameproof Couplers

Designed for use in the South African market, the Ex126BSS is rated for 425 amps with an operating voltage of 12,000 volts.

With an excellent track record in African underground coal mines, the IP66 stainless steel Ex126BSS is flameproof certified (SANS) and suitable for use in underground mining, tunnelling, and commercial applications, including Group 1 hazardous environments. The Ex126BSS is not limited to underground use, and can be installed in opencast and metalliferous sites if a higher level of durability is required. Featuring a rugged and compact design, the Ex126BSS has been developed and tested to SANS 1489 Part 1 and 4 and to SANS 60079 Part 0 and 1, with lightening impulse tests conducted on the Ex126BSS achieving a 95kV result.
