KonNx UK’s CAT Skid: Supporting OH&S and Equipment Handling Practices
Over the years since its initial release, the CAT Skid has been redesigned several times as part of our commitment to providing the industry with cable couplers and accessories of the highest possible quality. Each instance of the CAT Skid saw our R&D team take the best and most innovative features from the previous design, review vital customer feedback, and integrate all this into the new and improved design.
The current CAT Skid utilises a ‘mix & match’ style of design that makes it compatible with all of KonNx UK’s high voltage couplers, both new and old. While the frame of the skid is one-size-fits-all, it’s the various cradle set designs available that enables its compatibility with all KonNx UK couplers. These cradles can be ordered separately at any time whenever they are required.
Suitable for use above and below ground, some of the unique benefits to using KonNx UK’s CAT Skid include:
- streamlining product maintenance, as well as the opening and closing of the coupler system;
- ease of handling of high voltage couplers and allowing them to be rolled, the frame of the skid protecting your couplers from damage; and
